Our proposals form part of the broader Birmingham Central Heart Vision, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to unlock underutilised retail and office space within the core of Birmingham City Centre. Through the redevelopment of eight prospectus sites it seeks to reposition the city’s commercial and residential offer at a pivotal moment in its growth.

Strategically located at the gateway to the city from London via the new HS2 Curzon Street Station, Central Heart will capitalise on unrivalled connectivity and visibility.

Bringing together the multiple development sites, the project will create a sustainable, high-density, mixed-use neighbourhood centred around new linear green corridors significantly widening the public realm that link the city’s retail core to the wider Greenway network. In doing so, it will replace outdated stock with a vibrant, inclusive, and future-focused urban destination.

Rackhams Place will become its own Gateway to Central Heart, enhancing connections between HS2 and the main business district through exciting urban regeneration.
